Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has announced a new chairman for its Denmark Chapter.
Bella Center’s Head of Bella Logistic Services, Henrik Dyhr, has been elected the new chairman of Meeting Professionals International Denmark Chapter.
As the chairman of MPI Denmark Chapter, Dyhr will head the efforts to ensure ongoing professionalization of the Danish meeting industry and serve as a spokesperson for the organization’s members, which include suppliers of facilities and services, and meeting planners from the private and public sectors, associations and volunteer organizations.
“It’s an exciting challenge for me to represent an industry and I look forward to being involved in setting the political agenda and securing the best possible conditions for our members,” said Dyhr. “The Danish meeting industry should and must gain more recognition for the professionalism of its work every single day, which benefits the overall economy. This will be an important part of our success in the face of increased international competition.”
Dyhr has been employed at Bella Center since January 2011. In assuming the chairmanship of MPI Denmark Chapter, he succeeds Lars Ramme Nielsen, project manager at the Danish Industry Foundation.
