The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), which positions the country for the international business events market, is moving Malaysia’s business events industry a notch higher with the appointment of a sales manager of exhibitions.
Considered the perfect fit for the Bureau’s efforts to expand its portfolio, according to company officials, is Winnee Lim, who will report to Ho Yoke Ping, general manager of sales and marketing, MyCEB.
“I am excited to embark on a new journey together with MyCEB and [am] looking forward to building and expanding the new exhibition portfolio,” said Lim. “With the support from MyCEB’s dedicated team, I am all geared up to contribute to the growth of the industry as a whole.”
Possessing 12 years of experience in the exhibition industry and an extensive portfolio in the hospitality and events industry, Lim’s resume include stints at Mines Events, Traders Hotel and CitiExpo Consulting SB.
Lim will offer the best solutions in terms of developing and implementing MyCEB’s efforts to attract international exhibitions to Malaysia, according to company officials.
She obtained her qualifications from the DCT School of Hotel Management, Switzerland.
