NAB Show reports increase in exhibit space

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) recently released preliminary figures for the 2013 NAB Show, the world’s largest electronic media tradeshow. The event was held April 6-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.


“Once again, NAB Show serves as the premier event for content and communications professionals from around the globe,” said Dennis Wharton, executive vice president, NAB. “We’re thrilled by the continued support from our exhibitors and attendees, and delighted that NAB Show’s brand remains a powerful enabling force for technological advancement in media and entertainment.”

Exhibitors covered 900,000 sq. ft. at the 2013 NAB Show.

NAB reported exhibit space grew nearly 10 percent over 2012. The event comprised 1,600 exhibitors spanning 900,000 net square feet of exhibit space, up from 815,000 net square feet in 2012.

By the numbers:
•  Total registered attendees: 92,414
•  International attendees: 24,461
•  Countries represented: 155
•  News media attendees: 1,703

The 2012 NAB Show final attendance was 91,565.

All numbers are based on pre-show and onsite registration and subject to an ongoing audit.
