In this newly created role, the new executive vice president will be responsible for business development and work strategically with the event services teams to ensure outstanding client service and client relations.
Andrew Ortale has joined the National Trade Productions (NTP) team as the new executive vice president.
“We’re excited to have someone of Andrew’s experience, talent and energy join NTP,” said Robert E. Harar, chairman of National Trade Productions. “His diverse experience in the trade show industry will be invaluable to our staff and our clients.”
At NTP, Ortale will capitalize on more than 14 years of experience servicing the convention and tradeshow industry from a variety of perspectives to provide guidance to Event Services and NTP Show Directors. As executive vice president, Ortale will represent NTP throughout the industry with his continued participation in industry associations and at industry events.
“National Trade Productions has a tradition of excellence in trade show management,” said Ortale. “I am thrilled to join a team of people who share my passion for the industry and commitment to customer service.”
Andrew comes to NTP from The Expo Group where he managed eastern region sales, grew the new business portfolio substantially, and managed the account teams executing contracted services.
“We are proud of Andrew in this great opportunity to advance his career,” said Terry Keenan, executive vice president of The Expo Group. “He made such a valuable contribution to our company and the overall hospitality community in D.C. We are glad Andy’s new role enables us to work together on existing joint accounts and any future opportunities, plus it still keeps him involved in the community.”
Previously, Andrew was vice president of client and industry relations for J. Spargo & Associates, and represented convention and visitor bureaus in Orlando and Pittsburgh.
