NEFTEGAZ 2014’s numbers grow

Expected are 1,000 exhibitors from 32 countries who will participate in this year’s upcoming staging of NEFTEGAZ 2014, 15th International Exhibition on 64,500 square feet of exhibit space. Around 30,000 international visitors are anticipated at the trade fair, taking place May 26-29 at the SAO Expocentr in Moscow.

Dominating the Russian market and held with great importance to international suppliers is the oil and gas industry at about 43 percent and still growing.

“Especially in view of the current difficult political climate, an international business platform is more important than ever before. We are optimistic and hopeful to continue the success of the previous event held in June 2012,” said Erhard Wienkamp, member of the management board, Messe Düsseldorf.

Offering the most current technologies and equipment solutions will be the exhibitors for the production and processing of oil and gas. New products will be showcased by international companies from Europe, East Asia and the U.S. including world market leaders in addition to many prominent national suppliers.

Held concurrently with NEFTEGAZ 2014 will be the 5th ENERCON International Forum on May 26-28 with a program of workshops and expert panel discussions on some of the latest industry issues.

The trade fair receives strong support from government and industry, including Dmitri Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Sergey Naryshkin; chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; and Aleksandr Torshin, first deputy of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. Russia’s Ministry of Energy and Moscow’s city government also gives its support.

The trade fair also received awards from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
