The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center and the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered to host Sam Lippman’s Large Show Roundtable at the Convention Center last week (September 29). An exclusive group of twelve of the Convention Center and the CVB’s largest clients (as well as other executives, directors, show managers, and department managers responsible for shows with 125,000 net square feet and larger) were invited to attend an exclusive facilitated discussion to brainstorm ideas, explore proprietary research, exchange best practices, and make new connections with the goal of making their trade shows more effective and profitable.
The event, held in the Convention Center’s Ma Maison executive dining suite, was facilitated by Sam Lippman, president and founder of Lippman Connects. Said Lippman, “We had a great Large Show Roundtable in New Orleans. All the show managers (representing some of the largest shows in the United States) agreed New Orleans’s unique blend of old time hospitality and modern venue, destination and hotel package is totally unique. We had a productive meeting and a fun time.”
“Attending the Large Show Roundtable in New Orleans was truly beneficial and enjoyable. This well organized, content rich, engaging and enlightening experience fostering an intimate peer-to-peer exchange, coupled with one of the most hospitable cities in the country made for a unique and memorable opportunity,” added Kimberly Carcone, senior director, Market Events, Toy Industry Association, Inc.
With 1.1 million square feet of contiguous exhibit space, an award winning staff and first class amenities, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is the sixth largest convention center in the nation, a consistent Top 10 host of the largest number of conventions and tradeshows annually, and one of the city’s “Top Workplaces.”
