In conjunction with the inaugural North American Meetings Industry Day (NAMID), a gathering of meetings and events professionals from the U.S., Canada and Mexico to showcase the value of the MICE industry on April 16 in Washington, DC, American Express Meetings & Events will be hosting “Educate to Elevate,” a series of online education and sessions.
“We believe that the industry grows from within, on the strength and aptitude of the meetings professionals that envision then execute each and every meeting. Focusing on individual meetings excellence will yield a massive financial benefit to our global economy when taken in total,” American Express said in a statement.
Each of the four sessions is limited to 100 attendees. The complimentary webinars can also be applied toward a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.

A collaboration between Meetings Mean Business (MMB), the industry-wide communications and advocacy campaign, and the Convention Industry Council (CIC), the inaugural event advocates the value of meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, tradeshows and exhibitions.
