Nth Degree, a full-service global event marketing and management company, has announced the opening of a new office in San Mateo, Calif., and the addition of two team members: an event strategist and an account executive.

Bradley Gottesman, the new event strategist and Matt Kuzak, account executive, are helping Nth Degree expand its presence in Northern California with a second location in close proximity to customers in the Silicon Valley. Gottesman and Kuzak join a team of event management professionals in the San Mateo office, offering services such as event strategy, marketing and management for its clients.

Gottesman will focus on strategic planning, concept development and event and project management for Nth Degree’s experiential marketing customers with an emphasis on the ideation process. Throughout Gottesman’s 10 years of experiential marketing experience, he’s created and executed programs for clients such as VMware, U.S. Army, General Motors, Nike, American Express and Advanced Micro Devices. His most recent roles as an event/project manager and senior marketing manager for California-based marketing agencies helped refine his acumen for developing marketing programs that elevated the consumer’s experience for his clients.

“Brad has a knack for marrying brands with successful marketing concepts,” said Nonie Ravenberg, managing director, Strategy Marketing & Creative for Nth Degree’s event group. “His project management skills and ability to drive marketing programs through their entire lifecycle will benefit our clients as they work toward attaining their corporate event marketing goals with continued program innovation.”

Further augmenting Nth Degree’s event management team is Matt Kuzak, whose 6 years of pharmaceutical marketing and sales management experience have helped prepare him for his new role in which he will be responsible for new business development activities and managing key client relationships. Kuzak comes to Nth Degree from Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals where he was a district sales manager overseeing a team of 12. He also brings creative credibility to his role having been a member of multiple pharmaceutical brand teams, responsible for the marketing and promotion of a wide variety of medications in multiple therapeutic categories.

“We are so excited to have Matt in a role where he can bring his client-side product team experience to create successful experiential marketing programs for our clients,” said Robert Lowe, vice president and event architect for Nth Degree’s event group.
