Nuvista was presented with the EACA’s First Annual Member of the Year Award, which was accepted by Nuvista president, Amanda Helgemoe, at the 13th Annual Meeting in Orlando, Fla., last week.
“We’re pleased to recognize Nuvista with our first ever Member of the Year Award,” said Jim Wurm, executive director of the EACA. “The Member of the Year Award recognizes Nuvista for their outstanding service to the association, for their efforts to support the mission of the association, and for routinely representing all the values of the EACA in the way they service their clients and all other industry stakeholders.”
Additional factors that influence the selection of the EACA Member of the Year include:
- Volunteer service on National Board and/or Chapter Boards
- Attendance at national and local meetings
- Sponsorship of national and/or local meetings
- Membership referrals
- Activity on and contribution of content to EACA web site.
In addition to being presented with a commemorative plaque at the EACA Annual Meeting, Nuvista will be recognized on the “Member of the Year” page on the EACA Web site, will be the subject of an EACA news release distributed to industry press, and Nuvista’s local paper, the Dallas Morning News, and will receive a 50 percent discount on their 2012 EACA member dues.
