COS+H, the 7th China International Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition, will take place from Sept. 23-25 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.
The event will be jointly organized by the National Center for International Cooperation in Work Safety and Messe Düsseldorf Shanghai, the subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, which organizes A+A – the leading international trade fair for the occupational safety and health industry held every two years in Düsseldorf, Germany.
COS+H 2014 will feature a wide range of the most up-to-date equipment and technologies for personal safety protection, safety monitoring, storage and transportation safety, coal, metal and non-metal mining safety as well as power grid, construction and firefighting protection, hazardous materials safety, emergency rescue and work place design.
The show provides an ideal business platform for companies that want to enter the Chinese marketplace. With a workforce of over 1 billion, work safety remains a challenge and the demand for personal and occupational safety products increases continually. According to statistics, China’s personal protective equipment market was close to $9.1 billion by 2008 and is expected to exceed $20 billion by 2014.
In addition, China’s State Administration of Work Safety is committed to implementing the “Enhancing Safety by Science and Technology” strategy to improve safety and security, and since 2012, it launched several campaigns, which also drive the need for new safety equipment.
The last staging of COS+H in 2012 recorded 281 exhibitors from 15 countries and 20,554 visits from around the world.
