Imagine a bus filled with the most advanced retail technology for cannabis dispensaries, from smart menus to touchscreens to interactive kiosks.
Enlighten, a Nashville, Tenn.-based advertising, media and marketing technology company targeting the cannabis industry, has converted a 40-foot motor coach into a mobile mock dispensary called TheRealCannabus.
The bus will roll into MJBizCon at Las Vegas Convention Center Dec. 11-13, where some 35,000 people from the cannabis industry will show their goods. Sponsored by MJBizDaily, the marijuana show is the largest gathering of cannabis business professionals in the world.
MJBizCon has been proclaimed MJBizCon Week by Clark County Commissioners and the City of Las Vegas, honoring MJBizCon’s increase in global recognition, rapid-expanding attendance and significant impact beyond the convention center walls.
TheRealCannabus uses Enlighten’s cutting-edge retail technology to keep customers engaged through educational content, fun trivia and unique ad campaigns. Chairman Jeremy Jacobs will be on board to answer questions. Enlighten has worked with over 650 cannabis dispensaries and businesses, as well as Fortune 500 companies like Vans, Vice and Showtime.
“To say the Cannabus is an experience is an understatement,” says Cy Scott, CEO of Headset. “Enlighten was able to capture the unique aspects of being in a dispensary while highlighting the operational benefits that technology services can bring to cannabis retailers, all with the professional approach and attention to detail their team is known for.”
By touring TheRealCannabus, MJBizCon attendees have the opportunity to not only see the first-ever mobile cannabis dispensary, but also the latest advances in retail technology for dispensaries. Plus, they’ll have a ton of memorable visuals not typically found in a retail or technology conference.
“Southern Nevada, the hospitality capital of the world, has now established itself as one of the focal points of the cannabis industry because of MJBizCon,” Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom says. As a Nevada legislator, Segerblom led the charge for legalizing recreational marijuana.
The keynote speaker at MJBizCon is Marc Randolph, co-founder and chief executive officer of Netflix.
Although Randolph is best known for starting Netflix, his career as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur spans more than four decades. He’s founded or co-founded more than half a dozen successful start-ups, mentored rising entrepreneurs including the co-founders of Looker Data (which was recently sold to Google for $2.6 billion), and invested in numerous successful tech ventures.
