Orbus Exhibit & Display Group — a trade supplier of display, exhibit and event solutions – partnered with a producer of promotional displays and products, Graphic Creations Inc., to donate 30 banner stands.
The retractable banner stands were used to produce individualized banners for Medal of Honor recipients. They were displayed during the Medal of Honor 151st Anniversary Convention, held in Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 10-13.
“The Medal of Honor 151st Anniversary Celebration is such a moving opportunity, and we feel truly blessed to be a part of it. Our team is excited to be involved and is looking forward to seeing the final product. This is a moment that Graphic Creations’ team will always cherish. We are grateful for Orbus’ partnership in this project,” said Jim Caughorn, vice president, Graphic Creations, Inc.
Graphic Creations approached Orbus with the opportunity to partner in the project, designed for 80 living recipients of the Medal of Honor. During the 151st anniversary convention, individuals who served from WWII through the War on Terror met in Knoxville to remember, celebrate and be honored. The personalized banner stands commemorate each Medal of Honor recipient, and after the convention, are theirs to take with as they travel the country giving speeches and presentations.
Throughout the process, from start to finish, Graphic Creations documented their participation in this unique opportunity. A video production company was present to film the full process, from design, print, assembly and delivery to the set-up for the event.
Employees of Graphic Creations and Caughorn have expressed their excitement and honor to have been able to participate. Orbus is privileged to have been asked to be Graphic Creations’ partner in this, and is glad to be able to support the cause.
