Owensboro, KY– Oak View Group, the venue management provider for the Owensboro Convention Center, has once again been recognized as a premier destination for meetings and conventions by Facilities and Destinations magazine. This marks the eleventh time the venue has received the prestigious Prime Site Award, which is annually awarded to the top convention and exposition centers in the United States.
Facilities and Destinations is a quarterly trade publication serving the meetings and events industry. The Prime Site Awards, which have been bestowed annually since 1994, are primarily voted on by association and corporate meeting planners, as well as tradeshow professionals. These awards recognize venues and organizations that stand out in the highly competitive meetings market, as determined by their clients.
