World-famous IT security expert Paula Januszkiewicz will deliver a special keynote at it-sa 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany on Oct. 11, in the new international forum 110. The audience will receive tips on how to better protect IT systems as the topic of her address will be: “Attacks of the Industry: A View into the Future of Cybersecurity.”

Polish national Januszkiewicz is one of the most high-profile international IT security experts. As the founder and managing director of CQURE Inc., she shares her expertise with the IT security community and provides advice to clients all over the world. Januszkiewicz has received the Enterprise Security MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional) accolade and is one of the few people worldwide to have access to a source code of Windows. She has been the keynote speaker at well-known symposia and developer conferences in the U.S., Asia and the Middle East.

At it-sa 2018, Januszkiewicz will describe which forms of attack (almost) always allow hackers and cyber criminals to successfully reach their targets–and how companies and organizations can protect themselves from them.

Tips for greater IT security in companies and organizations

In her special keynote address, Januszkiewicz will explore the question of which vulnerabilities and often faulty configurations in complex IT infrastructures jeopardize the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. She shows possible gateways for espionage or sabotage and provides tips for an effective improvement of IT security in companies and organizations. In this context she explains, for example, how cloud solutions like Office 365, Azure or Amazon Web Services can be classified in respect of security and answers the question about when is it worthwhile migrating services to the cloud from a security standpoint .

The international forum is a particular highlight because it combines English-language presentations by exhibitors with the corresponding product-neutral “it-sa insights” in Hall 10.1. Like all forum presentations, the special keynote in English by Januszkiewicz is accessible to trade visitors and exhibitors. Currently, there are five open forums scheduled for it-sa this year.
