Penang’s Largest Convention Returns for Sixth Straight Year

V-Malaysia 2019, the five-day annual convention organized by QNET, returned to Penang April 23-27 at Setia SPICE Convention Center and Setia SPICE Arena, welcoming about 13,000 entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries to Penang.

The convention includes a series of training programs, motivational speeches, unveiling of brand-new lifestyle products of QNET, and entertainment events. A key attraction this year is the QNET Carnival which showcases over 50 brands of QNET products in one of the biggest exhibitions ever held by the company. QI Group of Companies. They sell a variety of products for wellness, personal care and beauty, holidays, home care and e-learning courses among others that enhance the everyday lives of its customers around the world.
Themed “Lead to Inspire to Lead,” the opening ceremony this year was graced by YB Professor Dr. P. Ramasamy Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang, Executive Chairman of QI Group Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran and Deputy Chairman Joseph Bismark. Also present were QI Malaysia Chairman Tan Sri Megat Najmuddin Megat Khas, QNET Malaysia Chairman Datuk Pahlawan Tuffile Nawab and several other prominent international business partners of QNET.
“Today, Penang is a world-renowned tourist destination and acknowledged by UNESCO as a World Heritage City. This Northern Malaysian state, furthermore, is also making significant inroads and gaining recognition as a preferred Business Events destination,” Ramasamy says during his opening speech April 23.
“Events like the V-Convention give us an opportunity to serve our distributors and allow them to experience us at close quarters. We have brought in around 250 staff from all over the world to support us at this convention and give our participants an unparalleled experience,” says QNET’s Chief Executive Officer Malou Caluza.
Supported by Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), an agency set up to develop the Business Events in Penang, the event will have delegates and is held at Setia SPICE Convention Center and Setia SPICE Arena respectively.
