The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) has announced several promotions that reflect not only the team’s continued dedication but further the organization’s overarching strategic goals.
On the communications team, Robin Bloom has been promoted to Senior Director of Strategic Communications. Robin will spearhead efforts to refine PHLCVB strategy by weaving a narrative through the organization’s domestic and international endeavors. This elevation will involve leveraging the organization’s new collaborations with agency partners, expanding reach in key international markets, and a renewed focus on advocacy.
John Ryan steps up as the Social Media and Content Manager. John’s skills for creating engaging short-form videos and social content will now be augmented by his new responsibilities to strategize content needs and keep track of the department’s project calendar.
Chelsea Ann Rovnan will now serve as Social Media Content Specialist, focusing on managing our daily social media activities across all PHLCVB social media platforms.
On the global tourism side, Melissa McClure has been promoted to Senior Global Tourism Sales Manager. In her new role, Melissa will drive the development of sales and marketing strategies across European source markets, now expanding her scope to cover 14 countries.
