The 5th International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, closed to positive reviews. Ninety percent of the exhibitors and 94 percent of visitors were satisfied with their participation.

Attending Plastics and Rubber Vietnam 2014 were 7,140 industry visitors, including 170 factory visitor groups. The event featured 155 exhibitors from 20 countries including country group exhibits from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

“There is an improvement compared to two years ago. Our exhibitors are seeing quality visitors and getting better inquiries,” remarked Low Lee Yong, executive director, Singapore Plastics Industry Association.

With these results, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam confirmed its position as the leading tradeshow for this sector and emphasized Vietnam’s continuing manufacturing growth and the country’s demand for plastic and rubber-related products and technologies across many industries. Electronics contract manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical, food and drink and general exported packaged products are the sectors with especially strong demand.

The next edition of Plastic & Rubber Vietnam will take place in from March 1- 3, 2016, in Ho Chi Minh City, concurrently with ProPak Vietnam 2016.
