Hill & Partners gave a helping hand to outdoor apparel leader Polartec to present the 2014 Polartec APEX Awards at the 2014 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market Trade Show in Salt Lake City, Utah, Aug. 6-9.
Each year, Polartec honors the designers for their ability to turn Polartec fabric technologies into inspiring products by presenting them with a Malden Trophy. The coveted trophy recognizes Polartec’s garment designers as a Polartec APEX Award winner. In addition to the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show, Polartec APEX Award winners are honored at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market show, also held in Salt Lake City, and at two European trade shows, the ISPO & OutDoor Friedrichshafen.
“Collaborating with Polartec in designing the branded environment in which the Polartec APEX Award winners are honored is a project dating back to the very beginning of our company’s existence,” said Michael McMahon, president, Hill & Partners. “Playing an integral role in designing not only the show booth in which the winning garment producers are showcasing their products, but the award program itself is a great honor and this year’s project at the 2014 Outdoor Summer show in Salt Lake was the most innovative to date.”
At this year’s 2014 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show, Hill & Partners utilized its award winning digital design team to overhaul the custom graphics representing the Polartec APEX Award/”Like Magic” campaign and coordinated the Polartec APEX Awards presentation and booth party, which included a red carpet roll out, AV, staging and a custom photo backdrop.
Hill & Partners’ project with Polartec at the 2014 Outdoor Retailer Summer Market show was one of more than 50 large-scale trade show productions and events worldwide scheduled for 2014.
