Precision Meetings and Events, a conference and event management company established in 1996, has taken the next step towards achieving its long-term growth targets by announcing that a new employee will join the company as president.
Tina Wehmeir, CMP, brings more than 20 years of management and marketing experience in the hospitality industry to her new position, as well as a wealth of professional relationships as an active leader in a host of association industry organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), The Center for Association Leadership, Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
Most recently, Wehmeir served as senior vice president of the Institute for Food Technologists where she was responsible for the oversight of all revenue operations for the association.

Wehmeir will take over the day-to-day operations and oversee the development strategy while Marilley, who will assume the title of founder, will continue to put her efforts into customer management, innovation, and design.
