ASAE is readying an unparalleled learning and engagement experience for attendees of its 2023 Annual Meeting & Exposition, taking place Aug. 5-8 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
Shape Your Purpose
The theme of ASAE’s 2023 Annual Meeting is “Shape Your Purpose,” which recognizes the unique approach that associations take when defining their personal and organizational purpose. Over three days, the ASAE Annual Meeting will provide a unique opportunity to partake in authentic, engaging, thought-provoking, and positive experiences for attendees that support the power of the association community to shape a better future for the industries they serve and for the world we share.
“As we prepare to welcome the association community to Atlanta this summer, ASAE is focused on creating a transformational experience for our attendees,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “When we look at the changing world in which we operate, associations should be at the forefront of innovation, workforce development, culture-building and influence. The ASAE Annual Meeting is going to deliver an inclusive, immersive environment for association professionals to learn, grow and shape their purpose.”
115 Learning Sessions
With more than 115 learning sessions to choose from, ASAE has curated five career and knowledge pathways to give attendees a navigational tool and educational framework for customizing their professional development plan at the ASAE Annual Meeting.
ASAE has also confirmed an exciting group of Main Stage speakers who will inspire and motivate attendees to make the most of their ASAE learning experience, including: Daymond John, the cutting-edge business strategist and passionate advocate for entrepreneurship with a starring role on ABC’s Shark Tank; Chad Foster, the first blind graduate of the Harvard Business School leadership program, successful corporate executive and author of Blind Ambition: How to Go from Victim to Visionary; and Soledad O’Brien, the award-winning journalist, entrepreneur and host of the nationally-syndicated weekly talk show Matter of Fact.
Catalyst Speakers
ASAE’s 2023 Catalyst speakers will share their own unique perspectives and experiences with the ASAE Annual Meeting audience, including Simon T. Bailey, a success coach, author, television host and philanthropist who specializes in helping people discover their brilliance; Alex Dea, a dynamic speaker, facilitator, podcast host and founder of the leadership development consulting firm Betterwork Labs, who will moderate a panel focused on unleashing the potential and performance of Gen Z association professionals; and Nora Burns, a former Fortune 200 executive who has built a career helping countless organizations reimagine the employee experience.
ASAE Attendees
ASAE attendees will want to plan to arrive early for the 2023 ASAE Annual Meeting to take advantage of several can’t-miss pre-conference sessions on Saturday, Aug. 5, including “Innovating in Tough Times: An Afternoon for CEOs,” with Safi Bahcall, the second-generation physicist, biotech entrepreneur and former public company CEO, who advises CEOs and leadership teams on strategy and innovation. Bahcall delivered the opening keynote at ASAE’s 2022 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville last summer. Bahcall’s session is for CEOs only.
