Reed appoints EAS to handle accreditation at WTM Latin America

Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has appointed Event Advantage Solutions (EAS) to handle the accreditation and registration of World Travel Market (WTM) Latin America, to be held at the Transamerica ExpoCenter, Sao Paulo, Brazil, from April 23 – 25, 2013, and the Arabian Travel Market (ATM),  which will be held May 6 – 9, 2013, at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Center, Dubai, UAE.

EAS has a wealth of experience handling accreditation and registration for major travel and tourism events having already managed this process for one of the UK’s largest tradeshows, World Travel Market (WTM) at ExCeL, London, for Reed during the past three years.

“We are delighted to have been appointed by Reed Travel Exhibitions to handle Arabian Travel Market and WTM Latin America as well as WTM London,” said  Peder Berg, managing director, EAS. “We have worked closely with RTE for a number of years now and are already in the process of working alongside Reed staff responsible for Latin America and Dubai to roll out our systems. While there is a high degree of synergy between these events, we approach each database and venue individually to ensure its specific needs and requirements are met perfectly.”

At ATM, EAS will manage the registration and accreditation process for more than 25,000 total attendees from over 70 different locations. During this four day tradeshow, more than 2,000 exhibiting companies participate, and a Hosted Delegate Program features among the major highlights of the show. WTM Latin America is aiming to attract 7,000 visitors to its launch show reflecting a projected rise in Latin American tourism, which could see Latin America at the top of the tourism table.

In both cases, EAS will utilise its Accredit system, which will be designed to meet the particular needs of each event. Registration will be totally digitalized, and event attendees will receive electronic registration documentation and badging.

“With their advanced technological approach to registration plus the knowledge EAS has gained from working on our sister show, WTM, it was a natural choice to work with them on ATM,” said  Fiona Ashton, marketing manager, RTE. “We believe EAS will help us, our visitors and exhibitors to keep moving ATM forward, strengthening its position as the leading travel exhibition in the Middle East.”
