Formed in 1990, the Society of Independent Show Organizers has grown from the 12 show organizers who met to discuss industry trends and opportunities for meeting the needs of for-profit show organizers through networking, to the various annual summits and conferences that now meet each year. The SISO CEO Summit brings together a wide range of C-level executives from the industry. Coming off the success of 2023’s Las Vegas summit, this year’s CEO Summit at the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, Florida, on April 8-11, promises to continue that success as the networking event of the year for show organizers from around the world.
“The outlook for our industry this year is one of growth and opportunity,” says Vincent Polito, CEO, SISO. “Several members have already held successful events, producing meaningful connections, collaboration, and boasting strong attendance numbers. But that doesn’t mean we can be complacent. Ever-shifting customer sentiment and expectations requires us as show organizers to stay nimble. And that is exactly what many of the conversations will center around at this year’s CEO Summit.”
