Registration Open for PCMA’s Virtual Convening Leaders Jan. 11-15

“We have arrived at 2021…People are starting to travel. Economies are moving toward growth. Recovery is indeed happening…and business events will be a vital part of the restoration of economic and social well-being in a post-pandemic world,” says Sherrif Karamat, Professional Convention Management Association president and CEO. “It won’t be easy and it won’t be the same. But PCMA is prepared and committed to making sure that your businesses, communities and careers are ready.

“And while our Recovery Discovery journey is not yet complete, all signs are pointing to the fact that recovery is now emerging as industry hope and participant intention positively align for the first time in almost a year.”

RECOVERY BY THE NUMBERS

PCMA Recovery Graph

In PCMA’s December Convene Dashboard survey, 43 percent said they were feeling “hopeful” or “inspired,” which is up from 28 percent in October. Business events participants shared even bigger news in our December Business Events Compass survey with 41 percent expecting to increase their 2021 F2F participation over 2019 levels—an increase of 22 points since October.

Karamat continues, “Now is the time for you to help accelerate business events recovery for your careers and your business by reconnecting with your colleagues, your clients and business partners.

“Convening Leaders 2021 on January 11-15 is designed specifically to help you do just that:

• By offering a combination of streaming broadcast and face-to-face connections through our official network partners, CL21 will reconnect you with your business partners and clients to accelerate your business and career into recovery.
