Registration is now open for the International Association of Convention Centres (AIPC) Annual Conference on June 30th – 3 July 3rd, 2024 at the Costa Rica Convention Center. Nestled in the heart of Costa Rica, the CRCC serves as the perfect backdrop for the conference. This advanced architectural masterpiece is not only a testament to innovation but also a symbol of environmental responsibility. Inspired by the rich biodiversity, culture, and authenticity of Costa Rica, the convention center provides a stunning setting for our deliberations.
This year’s conference is dedicated to exploring the evolution of conference venues under the theme “Next Gen Venues: The Power of Collaboration.” Organizers aim to create a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) that will be instrumental in attracting delegates. Their focus extends beyond design, delving into technology, F&B, inclusiveness and more to answer the question: “What does the next-generation conference center look like?”
Great speakers are lined up to bring inspiring stories from other industries, provide insights in key industry trends or shine their light on the impact these trends have on the management of convention centers. There will also be the 2024 edition of the Innovation Awards, an important feature of the conference. The Innovation Awards is a valuable forum for center creativity and an opportunity for members to showcase what their centers are doing to advance not just their own prospects but enhance the industry as a whole.
In addition, there will be the third cohort from AIPC’s talent program (Future Shapers) on stage. They will have gone through a 10-month elevated management program. Witness the culmination of our Future Shapers program as participants present two groundbreaking ideas that could significantly impact the future of convention centers. Their creativity and energy promise to leave a lasting impression.
All of this will be combined with many informal networking opportunities.
