Renee’ Browning Named General Manager at Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center

Well-Respected Former Regional Director of Sales at The Mobile Venues Returns Home to Lead New Efforts

MOBILE, AL  – Oak View Group, operators of The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center and the Mobile Saenger Theatre, today names Renee’ Browning, a well-experienced industry veteran and a former executive at the Mobile Civic Center, as the facilities’ new General Manager.

Browning will lead Oak View Group’s unwavering commitment to further enhancing operations and the guest experience at both venues, and the soon-to-be-built arena, and generating new and exciting opportunities to attract premier events and fostering renewed connections to the Mobile community. Browning brings a proven track record of success to her new role in Mobile. Before joining Oak View Group in Mobile, she was Assistant General Manager for the Broward Convention Center, where she spearheaded a $1.4 billion expansion project from conception to near completion, all while ensuring seamless business operations.

Having previously served as Regional Director of Sales at the Mobile Convention Center for 13 years, Browning brings a wealth of experience and leadership back to the region. Her deep ties to the Mobile community, combined with her extensive background in event management, make her the ideal candidate to lead Oak View Group’s collective efforts at these iconic venues into the future.
