Following CIBTM, China’s leading meetings, incentives and business travel exhibition for meetings and event organizers, taking place annually at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing, analysis proved the electrifying success of the education program. CIBTM is BPA Audited every year to guarantee that the number of visitors promoted is completely accurate and are unique attendees only.
CIBTM’s education program includes a lineup of sessions bringing the highest level of attendance thus far.
“The education program is open to everyone and it is a fantastic way for attendees to develop their careers and expand their knowledge on the latest hot topics, research and market trends,” said Helen Zhao, Dalian BIT World Travel Service Inc.
The most important sessions attended included findings from “The Annual CIBTM Industry Trends Report” presented by Sally Greenhill, Right Solution; “The China MICE Buyers Report presented by Rob Davidson, senior lecturer in events management, University of Greenwich, London; and the “Professor’s Views on the Industry” delivered by Davidson and Xing Lan, director, Sino-German IEMS Program, Shanghai University of International Business & Economics.
Both first-time attendees and returning delegates esteemed the education sessions to be beneficial.
“This is my first time to CITBM. Compared with other travel exhibitions, CITBM has a high quantity and quality of both exhibitors and buyers. I was also very impressed with the professional education sessions and I always believe that it’s the best way to maximize our business in local and international market,” commented Yang Fen, manager, Hunan Sincere International Travel Service Co. Ltd.
“Both international and local speakers were excellent, and I was pleased that CIBTM introduced more Chinese speakers who bring more local knowledge, and the international sessions were excellent as usual.”
The information presented in these sessions not only allowed attendees to feel empowered, but gave them the opportunity to become more successful in their business practices.
“I have attended CIBTM for many years. It is obvious that the education program this year has improved a lot in terms of quantity and quality. All sessions that I attended provided me with valuable industry insights and inspired me in my current job role,” commented Claudia Du, director of marketing and communications and assistant director of sales and marketing, PanGu 7 Star Hotel Beijing.
“The Chinese Buyer Report that launched this year is the best session I’ve ever attended, it not only revealed the preference of the buyers in terms of the venues they choose for their events, but it also taught us about how to approach the clients in ways which they prefer. What I have learnt from this report is a key to us winning future business.”
