Resort to expand with conference center in 2015

Scheduled to open in February 2015 in Tannersville, Penn., a new, 453-suite Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark will feature an indoor adventure waterpark, conference center, luxury spa and dining options.

The conference center will include a 7,450-square-foot grand ballroom, four breakout rooms and a pre-function area, totaling roughly 20,000-square-feet, in addition to the 18,000-square-feet of existing meeting space at the resort’s ski lodge.

Combined with Camelback’s winter operations, outdoor waterpark, treetop adventure center and snow tubing park, the $163 million park will be the largest in the Northeastern U.S. and the most interactive resort in the entire U.S.

Camelback will sit at eight stories tall with 453 suites, mountain Segway tours, a mountain coaster and a 1,000-foot tandem zipline.
