A senior account manager at Star, a leading global marketing solutions provider, has joined the ranks of the tradeshow industry’s top talent by completing EXHIBITOR’s Certified Tradeshow Marketer (CTSM) accreditation program, the only university-affiliated certification program in the tradeshow and event marketing industry.
Stephanie Gibbs started the certification process in 2012 in order to improve her company’s tradeshow marketing strategies. She has successfully accomplished all of the CTSM program requirements: a 28-course core curriculum, a comprehensive examination and acceptance of a Candidate Portfolio.
Gibbs will be recognized as one of the new CTSM graduates at the annual awards ceremony at EXHIBITORLIVE, a leading educational conference and exhibition for tradeshow and event marketing professionals, to be held March 1-5 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Getting her start in the industry eight years ago, Gibbs worked as an event specialist in the direct seller industry. In 2011, she landed a job with Star and today she assists more than 15 clients with their tradeshows, corporate interior and event needs.
Created in 1992, the Certified Tradeshow Marketer (CTSM) program, sponsored by EXHIBITOR, is affiliated with Northern Illinois University Outreach to assure academic standards are met. All CEUs earned in the program are awarded by NIU. EXHIBITOR’s CTSM program has over 3,000 professionals enrolled.
