Roomer, the first company to ever provide a solution for nonrefundable hotel rooms, launched Roomer Partner Network (RPN), an offering designed to minimize loss and maximize profitability for meeting and event planners responsible for booking group hotel reservations.

The Roomer Partner Network is the latest strategic initiative from Roomer, which makes group and business travel easier and more cost-effective. After identifying the $8.6 billion that is lost each year on nonrefundable hotel rooms, including group and incentive hotel room purchases, Roomer wanted to create an offering specifically designed for meeting and event planners stuck with restrictive cancellations and/or attrition on group hotel rooms they have booked for meetings, conferences and special events.

“Our vision for The Roomer Partner Network is to provide a safe and effective solution for all parties involved in a group hotel booking cancellation while simultaneously increasing hotel room options for consumers on RoomerTravel.com. Likened to the “Booking.com for meeting and event planners,” the Roomer Partner Network will act as a solution for attrition and help alleviate the risk that comes with group travel, by helping to fill any cancellations or open rooms that have previously been reserved. Meeting and event planners can now post unused hotel rooms from group bookings to RoomerTravel.com for consumers to purchase at a discounted rate, thus helping to recoup some of the money that would have been lost had the room gone unused.

Currently, members from PCMA and MPI are using Roomer services to maximize their room black management as well as increase profit for their clients.
