Health and organic companies will show off their products for the newest category introduced at WorldFood Moscow, to take place Sept. 15-18 in Moscow.
WorldFood Moscow is Russia’s international food and drink exhibition, and will include such global brands as Consurfrut, Roveg, Algerian Dates Grower Packer, Ongkorn Special Foods, Yonatans Farm, Pink Lady, Indian Ocean Rock Lober, Chocolate World, Posmei, Beta Teas, Imperial Tea and Agrino.
“The strong interest from global food brands not only reaffirms WorldFood Moscow’s reputation of a place where business is conducted, it is also an indicator that international companies are confident that Russia is a market that still has opportunities and a country worth investing it,” said Tony Higginson, sales director, WorldFood Moscow, ITE Group Plc.
Other exhibitors taking part include the group Interfel from France and EECA from Egypt.
WorldFood Moscow is a specialized business-to-business exhibition for professionals from the international food and drink industry to meet. Covering a wide range of products, the annual event welcomes more than 1,600 companies from more than 70 countries, and attracts leading supermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, restaurateurs, retailers and food production companies from Russia and the CIS region.
Exhibitors at WorldFood Moscow will be divided into 11 sectors; fruit and vegetables; canned; confectionery and bakery; oils, fats and sauces; dairy products; drinks; grocery; fish and seafood; meat and poultry; frozen production; tea and coffee and health and organic.
The popular addition of the health and organic sector will include companies Kupiec, Iimport Bio, Naturaling and Vikoriya, which have already confirmed their participation.
Also introduced for 2014 is the international media area, created for journalists travelling to the event from the around the world. The area is a place for networking and relaxation as well as for official media partners to present their publications.
