New Jersey-based manufacturer, Sea Box Inc., which specializes in the design, custom modification and manufacturing of ISO containers, unveiled a new product designed to expand hotel or convention center exhibition hall space.
“With over 30 years of experience, Sea Box Inc. focuses on developing, designing and building innovative containerized products to service a variety of industry needs and requests,” commented Jim Brennan Jr., president, Sea Box. “The unique benefit of all Sea Box products is that they are built to standardized transport container design and are easily transportable worldwide using existing transportation systems and handling equipment.”
Able to convert virtually any outdoor space into a product showroom floor, presentation theater, reception area or retail space, exhibitors can place instant-up showrooms wherever needed.
“You can set it up in the parking lot in Vegas one day and have it in Orlando the next,” said William Begley, director of business development, Sea Box.
The Sea Box Relocatable Exhibit Display-Venue (RED-V) is a modular, mobile exhibit space, available in two basic units: 50’ x 32’ or 50’ x 64’, both with interior ceiling heights of 22’. The RED-V Exhibit Function Space unit has a collapsible design that simplifies set up and reuse. Both secure and weatherproof in normal conditions, the unit can be erected in virtually any area that will accommodate its footprint.
“For the hotel and tradeshow industry, RED-V is an ‘instant-up’ answer to demand for additional hotel meeting and exhibit space,” Begley added. “For vendors of large items, from cars to large-scale 3D printers, the RED-V can put a customized showroom on the road without elaborate and costly ‘from scratch’ design.”
Rugged and adaptable, the walls and ceiling panels of the mobile exhibit function space are made of a galvanized steel exterior with a non-combustible core material designed to reduce overall weight while insulating the interior for optimum temperature control as an exhibit venue. Each Sea Box RED-V comes equipped with an Environmental Control Unit (ECU) to ensure a comfortable interior environment. The units also include electrical system wiring for utility power, as well as a fire, smoke and heat detection systems built into the design.
“Sea Box’s corporate objective is to invent, design and produce better solutions for our customers’ needs and to assist in their product development,” stated Steve Rolf, COO, Sea Box. “From deployable military hardware to temporary housing to the unique RED-V, we think inside the Sea Box when it comes to creativity and innovation.”
