The Sharonville Convention Center (SCC) has announced Ovations Food Services will
take over as the center’s official food and beverage provider. The addition of Ovations is the last piece of the center’s $26 million dollar renovation that included an expansion of space, new partners and a contemporary, aesthetically pleasing look.
Ranked as one of the top 10 food-service companies in the U.S., Ovations offers customized, premium menus with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Bradley Muchnicki, a graduate of Pennsylvania Culinary Institute Le Cordon Bleu, will take on the role as head chef at the center. His experience over the last nine years earned him the Regional Food & Beverage Excellence Award in 2006 and the Marriott International Food & Beverage Excellence Award in 2007.
“We wanted to offer first-class food and service to all of our guests,” said Jim Downton, executive director, SCC. “Ovations truly sets the bar high with their customized menu, excellent food and unparalleled hospitality. I am highly confident that the recent additions and features to this facility will provide substantial opportunities.”
The center nearly doubled its size during the expansion, featuring an additional 65,000 square feet. Upgraded floor plans include 20,455 square feet of exhibit hall space with 20-foot ceilings, 15 state-of-the-art meeting rooms that can house up to 700 and the Northern Lights Ballroom, which accommodates up to 1,000 people and has 19-foot ceilings with elegant lighting from modern chandeliers.
The SCC is located in northern Cincinnati and provides a contemporary location for meetings, conventions, banquets, tradeshows and public events. The center is located 15 miles of north of downtown Cincinnati just off I-75 and I-275.
