Lake Forest, IL (June 2024) – Sho-Link Incorporated a premier installation and dismantle service company, announces the appointment of Colleen Johnson as its new president as of July 1, 2024. Johnson steps into this role after Scott Rudel’s remarkable tenure, which spanned 24 years of dedicated service.

Johnson expressed her excitement about the opportunity: “As we bid farewell to Scott, whose significant legacy has left an indelible mark on our organization, I eagerly embrace the challenge of charting our forward course. The Sho-Link teams and member organizations will continue to work collaboratively to drive excellence, innovation, and growth for Sho-Link.”

Derek Gentile, president & CEO of EEI Global and Chairman of Sho-Link’s Board of Directors, praised Johnson’s qualifications: “Colleen’s tenure, experience, and forward-thinking enthusiasm will ensure that Sho-Link’s leadership thrives,” adding, “We are grateful for Scott’s leadership and dedication since joining Sho-Link in 2001.  His contributions have been tremendous, and he will be missed.”

Rudel shared his confidence in Johnson: “Having collaborated on numerous achievements during our time together, I am fully convinced that she will channel her creativity, knowledge, and passion into the future of Sho-Link.”

As Rudel retires, Sho-Link honors his significant contributions, including a company band refresh, strengthened industry ties, and the establishment of the general contracting and events division.

Rudel expressed his gratitude: “To our Sho-Link owners, Board of Directors, and member teams, thank you for your unwavering support. Your confidence in Sho-Link has fueled countless successful projects.  To every single Sho-Link employee I have been associated with, in whatever part you played during my time with you, one more thank you for making my job so enjoyable and rewarding. How privileged I have been in making all the acquaintances and the deep friendships because of this industry over the years!”
