Bagelmania—known in Las Vegas for its deli counter and New York-style bagels since 1989—celebrated its grand opening on May 28 in its new location at 252 Convention Center Drive (nestled between Peppermill and the LVCC’s new West Hall).
Moving from their previous location at the corner of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street, the new location features 200 seats and a retro-modern exterior design. The 10,000-square-foot facility includes a bakery, a private dining room that can be rented out for special events, a 44-seat outdoor patio area, deli counter and a full bar with slot machines.
Dignitaries attending included Congresswoman Dina Titus, Sheriff Joe Lombardo, Latin Chamber of Commerce Nevada President Peter Guzman, Arnold Stalk, Laborers Union Local 872 boss Tommy White, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and her husband, former Mayor Oscar Goodman, Piero’s Italian Cuisine owner Freddie Glusman, Jon D. Ponder, County Commissioner Tick Sagerblom, R-J columnist John Katsilometes and more. Judge Harmony Letizia was the master of ceremonies as Stephen and Judith Siegel cut the ribbon surrounded by Zowie Bowie’s Las Vegas showgirls (Christina Amato, Sarah LeClear-Domingo, Anna Van Sambeck, Kristyn Hoffman, Ashely Belle and Ellen Alves Wynn). In 2018, Stephen Siegel, a longtime customer, purchased the nearly 30-year-old restaurant and renamed it “Siegel’s Bagelmania.”
