ISA International Sign Expo has just closed its most successful event ever with more than 20,500 people attending the 70-year-old show in Las Vegas. What’s more, organizers say the event surpassed previous records for attendance at education events by 40 percent, and the 210,000-square-foot show floor was sold out several months in advance.
While there were 600 companies exhibiting, there were dozens more on a waiting list hoping space would become available, something that has prompted show organizers to add additional show-floor space for the 2018 event. And the events that collocated with the ISA International Sign Expo enjoyed similar record-setting attendance and in-demand show floor space. The National Sign Research and Education Conference, which collocated with the ISA for the first time, completely sold out its show floor space and had a 220 percent increase in attendance over the previous event.
The success of the event, organizers say, is generated by the scope of the marketplace it serves. “There is no doubt that ISA International Sign Expo is the only trade show that brings together the breadth of the sign, graphics and visual communications industry and those who influence it,” said Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. “Every minute of the four-day education and trade show offered opportunities to make valuable connections, learn groundbreaking ideas and see innovative products and services to help businesses grow.”
The 2018 ISA International Sign Expo is slated for March 21-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
