Site EMEA Forum 2012 capitalizes on events industry in Berlin

SiteThe Site International Board of Directors has announced that the Site EMEA Forum 2012 will take place in Berlin, Germany, from June 18- 20, 2012. In a demonstration of commitment to industry collaboration, the Site EMEA Forum committee leaders have endorsed a co-location with the first ever Capital City Congress.

Organized by the German Convention Bureau (GCB) and European Association of Event Centers (EVVC) and supported by Site Germany, MPI Germany, ICCA Germany, the German Travel Management Association (VDR) and the Association of German Event Organizers (VDVO), the Capital City Congress is the first time that all German MICE industry associations will meet under one roof (ICC Berlin) to discuss the future direction of the events industry together with leading political decision-makers.

Site EMEA Forum participants will benefit from a program within a program format. The Site EMEA Forum program will hold seminars, and content will be specific to the motivational events and incentive travel professionals. However, delegates will also have a unique opportunity to network with ‘Hauptstadtkongress’ delegates during session breaks and two evening events in iconic Berlin locations.

“Events such as the Site EMEA Forum are important to the Site community because they are designed and driven by a committee focused on the needs and perspectives of business professionals based in the region,” said Alejandro Verzoub, Site 2012 president, AV Business & Communication. “We are fortunate that the 2012 event will deliver even greater value for delegates through co-location with the ‘Capital City Congress’. I personally look forward to experiencing this energy and education first-hand next June.”

This event will represent the second installment of the Site EMEA Forum, following successful seminars offered in 2011 in Florence, Italy. The 2012 edition promises to offer knowledge on current business trends and meaningful dialogue focused on the future of incentive and motivational travel specific to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“On behalf of the Site EMEA Forum 2012 Host and Education Committees, I invite Site members and industry colleagues to capture ‘Summer Feeling’ in Berlin and to join us in the pulsating capital city of Germany,” said Annamaria Ruffini, event chair, president and CEO, Events In & Out S.R.L. “It is our goal to provide a memorable experience which will leave you totally energized to face the challenges of today and to seize the opportunities of tomorrow.”
