Vancouver Convention Center
Located on the downtown waterfront with a mountain backdrop, the Vancouver Convention Center’s two connected buildings feature 466,500 sq, ft. of flexible meeting space. As the world’s first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certified convention center, the facility is committed to environmental sustainability. The East and West Buildings are designed as a series of modules to offer the highest degree of space flexibility, allowing the facility to hold simultaneous events, each with its own separate access. The Vancouver Convention Center also has 72 meeting rooms and 70,000 sq. ft. of ballroom space. In 2012, Vancouver was named North America’s top destination for international meetings by the International Congress and Convention Association. The city has been previously awarded the title in 2006, 2008 and 2010.

Metro Toronto Convention Center
Over its 27 years, the Metro Toronto Convention Center (MTCC) has hosted approximately 15,000 events, entertained more than 40 million guests and has added $4.7 billion in direct spending to impact the economy and community of Toronto. The center is split between North and South Buildings, the former containing the 1,330 seat John Bassett Theatre with auditorium seating, a full orchestra pit and seven dressing rooms. The North Building has 85,000 sq. ft. of pre-function space and 32 fully-carpeted meeting rooms ranging in size from 600 to 7,000 sq. ft. Halls A, B and C make up the North Building and have a total of 200,000 sq. ft. of column-free exhibit space. The South Building features a 42,500 sq. ft. street-level registration area, 34 fully-carpeted meeting rooms ranging in size up to 10,000 sq. ft. and Halls D, E, F & G, which total 260,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space. The MTCC is a barrier free facility, meaning it fully complies with all standards set by the and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ottawa Convention Center
Opening on April 18, 2012, the Ottawa Convention Center (OCC) is the newest venue for our neighbors to the north. More 500 events are forecasted to take place in its first year of operation, which will afford over 200,000 visitors a glimpse of the spectacular panoramic views that can be seen through the center’s impressive glass façade. The OCC features 192,000 sq. ft. of usable space, including 28 meeting rooms and a 55,741 sq. ft. multi-purpose hall with a theatre-style capacity of 6,260 and an banquet-style capacity of 4,600. The venue also features a 19,032 sq. ft. ballroom. Level 1 of the center includes eight meeting rooms and an executive boardroom. Level 2 contains 15 highly-configurable meetings rooms and more than 19,800 sq. ft. of pre-function space. Level 3 houses the column free, multi-purpose meeting halls and Level 4 contains the ballroom. The OCC was built with contributions from the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada and the City of Ottawa. Through four years of construction, nearly a 1000 workers were involved in building the OCC.

The Scotiabank Convention Center opened its doors April 2011. In its first year, the center hosted more than 250,000 visitors for a wide range of events including public consumer shows, tradeshows, theatrical performances, corporate meetings and conferences. The Scotiabank Convention Center, at more than 280,000 sq. ft., is the largest event venue in the Niagara Falls area. The center has three exhibition halls that can be combined to provide more that 80,000 sq. ft. of contiguous space. Individually, each hall is over 25,000 sq. ft. Five ballrooms are located just across from Hall A, with the largest being the Peller Estates Ballroom with just under 17,000 sq. ft. The center is home to the Fallsview Theatre, which seats 1,028 and can be retracted to create a Junior Ballroom. In addition to being conveniently connected by three major international airports, the Scotiabank Convention Center provides clear driving access to 55 percent of the U.S. and 62 percent of the Canadian populations.
