Built on Relationships, Fueled by Passion

In 2005, Mike and Jackie Bojesen set out to build something different, a company grounded in relationships, creativity, and trust. From those early days in a small Chicago warehouse, SourceOne Events has grown into a nationally recognized General Service Contractor and event production company with a reputation for innovation and integrity.
“From the beginning, our goal wasn’t to be the biggest, it was to be the best partner,” recalls Mike Bojesen, President and Co-Founder. “Every client, exhibitor, and teammate has been part of our story. We built SourceOne on the belief that success starts with people.”
Two decades later, that belief remains the foundation of SourceOne’s culture. With operations now spanning Chicago and Orlando, the company continues to serve trade shows, corporate events, and brand experiences across the country. From large-scale conventions to custom exhibit programs, SourceOne’s hallmark has always been a hands-on, solutions-driven approach backed by a team that treats every show like it’s their own.
SourceOne also takes great pride in serving as the in-house General Service Contractor for over a decade at both the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Illinois and Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando. These long-standing partnerships reflect the company’s commitment to excellence, reliability, and collaborative service, values that have defined its brand since day one.
This year marks a special milestone, 20 years of SourceOne Events. To celebrate, the company launched SourceOne University Boot Camp, an internal training and development program designed to empower its growing team with skills, leadership, and inspiration for the future. “We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come,” says Jackie Bojesen, Co-Founder and Vice President. “But more importantly, we’re proud of the people who got us here, our dedicated team, our loyal clients, and our partners in the ESCA community.”
As SourceOne looks ahead, the focus remains on evolution. From sustainability initiatives and new LED digital signage offerings to partnerships with leading industry associations like PCMA, the company continues to raise the bar for creativity, quality, and service in the events industry.
“After 20 years, we’re still just as passionate as the day we started,” Mike says. “The shows, the people, the late nights, it’s what we love. We’re proud to be part of this industry and the ESCA community that supports it.”
Celebrating 20 Years Strong and ready for what’s next.
