Meeting professionals will gather in Ljubljana, Slovenia, for the 6th Conventa, a South East European exhibition for meetings, events and incentives, from Jan. 22-23, 2014.
Conventa 2014 promises quality hosted buyers, engagement, education, emotions, energy and entertainment, according to show officials.
Half of the expected 140 exhibitors representing the South East European region already ensured their place at Conventa. Each year, the show welcomes exhibitors from new countries; Turkey debuted last year. For 2014, organizers are opening a small exhibitor space to Central European countries. South East European exhibitors will also be accompanied by selected exhibitors from across the border.
Interest in the region’s meetings industry and Conventa was shown by meeting planners from Europe. By January, organizers expect to confirm 250 national and international buyers that will have to meet strict criteria for being a Conventa hosted buyer.
To keep hosted buyers and exhibitors in the loop and introduce them to the latest trends of the meeting industry, from marketing and sales to supporting technology and creativity, Conventa’s organizational team will implement different educational modules for buyers and exhibitors.
Professional education will be offered at Conventa Academy, continuing with morning basic- and expert-level sessions and rounding up with Conventa Experts Corner, consisting of all day long, short one-on-one sessions hosted by experts who cover different meeting industry fields.
