The Federation of International Medical Equipment (FIME) Suppliers has selected EXPO Convention Contractors, Inc. (EXPO) as the general services contractor for the FIME tradeshow in a multi-year contract.
Since the FIME International Medical Trade Fair and Congress is held in Miami Beach every year and EXPO Convention Contractors is the top general service contractor in South Florida, it’s the perfect addition to our commitment to going green, explains Brad Mandell, FIME executive director.
With Expo Convention Contractors being based in Miami, there will be a significant reduction in the distance that the supplies, materials and equipment will need to travel for the FIME convention.
“Vehicles emit large amounts of green house gases and less trucking mileage means less emissions and a reduction in those gases,” Mandell said. “Because of the size of FIME, we think that this will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the FIME tradeshow.”
