Surf Expo announced the return of the industry party at Typhoon Lagoon, presented by Sanuk, Sept.5.

The industry will descend on Disney’s well-known waterpark for an unforgettable evening of friends, fun and camaraderie.

“We are pumped to again partner with Sanuk for our Industry Party,” said Roy Turner, show director, Surf Expo. “Typhoon Lagoon is the perfect venue for our attendees and we invite all to come out and enjoy a great evening.”

This year’s party format will feature open swim time in the wave pool to allow all guests to enjoy the water. In addition, the crowd favorite lazy river will be open for floating with fellow industry partygoers.

To continue the tradition of fundraising for charity, a specialty cocktail, the “Stokes Me Rum Punch” will be offered at all cash bars. A portion of each drink sold will go to the Stokes Me campaign, which benefits the SIMA Humanitarian Fund, with Sanuk matching donations up to $3,000.

“Sanuk is stoked to partner up with Surf Expo once again to host another unforgettable evening at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and to help raise money for Stokes Me,” said Tommy Campagne, senior marketing communications manager, Sanuk.

Last year’s industry party was attended by more than 3,000 Surf Expo attendees, and next week’s party is likely to top that, based on RSVP responses.
