For the first time, SURTEX is allowing videotaped sessions from its highly-regarded 2013 conference program to be available for purchase. Eight information-packed sessions, led by notable industry experts, are now accessible to the industry at large for easy and convenient viewing.
Held during the May 2013 edition of SURTEX, a tradeshow for surface design and art licensing, the comprehensive conference presented multi-disciplinary sessions ideal for artists, designers, manufacturers, retailers and product developers. Participants of SURTEX who found themselves too busy during the show, as well as non-participants of the market, can now reap the benefits of this education as their busy schedules allow.
“The introduction of web-based conference viewing fulfills a frequent request by those who would benefit tremendously from this education but find themselves with a packed schedule during the show,” said Penny Sikalis, vice president, GLM, and SURTEX show manager. “We’re pleased to provide a platform for year-round access to valuable educational information.”
Session topics cover the basics of monetizing art and design, and sessions available include three industry-specific category spotlights imparting the specifics required to do business within the home textiles, stationery and tabletop product categories. Conference videos run between 60-90 minutes and are available for purchase on the SURTEX website.
