ARLINGTON, Virgina – Taffy Event Strategies announces the inaugural High Performance Expo (HPX), the exclusive business and consumer show of the North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA), which will be held from June 3-5, 2025, at the Charlotte Convention Center, followed by city-wide enthusiast events. The event will bring together all segments of the racing and performance industry for the first time in the heart of the auto racing community.
“Taffy Events is partnering with the NCMA and key stakeholders in the Charlotte racing and performance industry to bring the High Performance Expo to life,” said Jenn Heinold, president of Taffy Event Strategies. “The initial reaction and support from the NCMA, race teams, local business leaders including financial and tech, and Charlotte officials has been incredible.”
Taffy Event Strategies has built a dynamic team to produce this launch, led by Dana Teague, who will serve as the High Performance Expo’s general manager. “I’m thrilled to lead the launch efforts for the High Performance Expo,” Teague said. “The groundswell of support reinforces that there is clearly an underserved market craving its own show.”
This first-of-its-kind-event has something for everyone – professional race teams, manufacturers of new cars and high-performance parts, retail performance shops, industry experts and enthusiasts. HPX 2025 is the gateway to the next level in the world of high-octane racing and automotive performance.
“HPX will deliver a progressive event format with vibrant displays, modern educational programming, networking opportunities, and interactive activations for automotive fans everywhere,” Heinold added. “Charlotte offers a central East Coast location with a natural tie and partnership opportunities for this dynamic industry. Stay tuned for big name sponsors, partners, exhibitors and consumer-facing activities.”

HPX will showcase the big names you would expect and others who have never been given the chance to share their knowledge and advice with the automotive industry.

HPX 2025 is where the best in the business will meet to push the boundaries of automotive racing innovation and technology.
“The North Carolina racing industry has long wanted to design an experience like HPX to more easily connect with our passionate fans,” said David Miller, executive director of the NCMA. “The NCMA has found the right show management partner to execute this launch and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with the dynamic and capable team at Taffy Event Strategies.”
