Team San Jose recently recruited a new national sales manager to be focused on the Central region of the U.S. This new position will work with National Association and Corporate customers.
Kim Augustyn, the new sales manager, will be based in a satellite office out of Chicago, Ill.
“We are excited to have Augustyn representing San Jose in these essential marketplaces,” said Chuck Toeniskoetter, Team San Jose’s chairman of the board. “Team San Jose continues to be a destination of choice for customers across the country and Augustyn’s experience in the industry will be a great asset to San Jose’s future success.”
Augustyn comes to San Jose with over 15 years of total experience in the meetings and events industry, including four years as an event manager. Her most recent experience of seven years was as a sales manager with Metropolitan Pier& Exposition Authority in Chicago.
Augustyn earned designation of a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
