The Teamsters Local 631 All Charity Fund will hold its 2nd Annual Hacker’s and Slacker’s Golf Tournament on February 25 at the Silverstone Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev. The shotgun scramble tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The annual tournament is a 501c(3) event, with the proceeds going toward scholarships for children of Teamsters 631 members.
“I invite (everyone) to become a part of this Las Vegas tradition,” said Kenny Pietrafeso event coordinator and chairperson for Teamsters Local 631. “We feel it is extremely important to help give our young people the opportunity to pursue higher education so they might give back to our community in the future.”
Entries for the tournament are $225 per person and include 18 holes of golf, two drinks, lunch and entry gifts. Raffle tickets may be purchased separately. The deadline to register for the event is February 18.
The tournament will offer prizes to participants and include several contests including closest to the pin, longest drive, hole-in-one and putting.
A number of sponsorships opportunities for the event are still available, ranging in price from $250 to $2,500.
Teamsters Local 631 was chartered in 1937 and has played a vital role in the Las Vegas community. Most of the members work in the convention, Construction, Freight and UPS industries, all of which have helped build the city of Las Vegas.
