Third Attendee Acquisition Roundtable announced for 2012

aar-logoSam Lippman, the producer of the Exhibition & Convention Executives Forum, the Large Show Roundtable and the Exhibit Sales Roundtable, recently announces a third Attendee Acquisition Roundtable (AAR) for 2012.

AAR is an invitation-only workshop for convention and exhibition marketing professionals.  The roundtable provides 18 event marketers with the opportunity to share the latest tactics, technologies and best practices for effective attendance promotion, acquisition and retention.

“AAR is the perfect size and format for peer-to-peer sharing and interaction,” said John Toner, vice president of the United Fresh Produce Association.  “I learned new strategies to increase attendance and reduce my marketing budget.”

AAR will take place October 31, 2012 at the Washington Marriott Metro Center in Washington, DC.

“I attended the inaugural AAR and I’ve sent several of my staff to subsequent AARs,” said Stephanie Robert, vice president of marketing and membership for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. “No two AARs are the same. Plus, the contacts we have made at AAR have resulted in new partnerships, saving us thousands of dollars.”

All AAR participants must qualify to attend and no more than two participants per organization may attend.

“I knew we identified a need when all of the Attendee Acquisition Roundtables for 2011 and 2012 sold out in a matter of weeks,” said Lippman.

The first participant from each organization will be charged $325 for the roundtable. The second participant will be charged $195. Qualified individuals can apply by visiting www.largeshowroundtable.com/AAR.
