The Las Vegas Chapter of the EDPA (Exhibit Designer’s and Producers Association) is sponsoring a blood drive in the name of Tim Provo. The blood drive is taking place now and ends on November 19th.
For those of you who are not aware, Tim was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia back in July. While he is expected to make a full recovery, the Las Vegas chapter of EDPA wanted to do something that would allow us all to show Tim our support.
While this started as a local Las Vegas initiative, the response from friends, family and colleagues across the country has been overwhelming. Based on the areas we have received interest from, the Las Vegas Chapter of EDPA has worked with several local blood donation centers to allow everyone to contribute.
For a list of locations, email the EDPA at edpa_lv@yahoo.com. Please call to set up an appointment to donate at the location nearest you on November 19th and give them Tim Provo’s name to show your support. Appointments are necessary, so please do not just show up at a donation center.
If you don’t see your area in the list, contact arosen@elements-exhibits.com or any member of the Las Vegas EDPA Chapter board to help you find a donation location.
For everyone who donates, they will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a 32” LCD TV. If you are not part of the Las Vegas donation, please email arosen@elements-exhibits.com your name, as well as the date and location of your donation in order to be entered.
For those of you who donate in Las Vegas, in addition to being entered into the LCD drawing, you will also receive a coupon for a free pastry from Dunkin’ Donuts.
We are also excited to confirm the following van location in addition to being able to donate at a local United Blood Services facility. Please note that you still need to make an appointment with the contact at this facility if you choose this method.

The November 19th van at Elements also marks the end of the blood drive and everyone, whether a blood donor or not, is encouraged to come to Elements for a “wrap party”.
