Kangaroo Feeding with Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns at The Kangaroo SanctuaryOffering a glimpse of what’s possible for future incentive events in Australia, the weekend will include a range of exclusive travel experiences, highlighting the country’s unique culture, stunning natural beauty, world class food and drink, exceptional wildlife and the Australian personality.

From wine tasting and cheese making to the waters of the Great Barrier Reef, the shores of Kangaroo Island, the doors of MONA and evenings at Uluru and the Sydney Opera House, alongside a dinner party with Matt Moran and friends, the program of live events kicks off from 5/4c p.m. on May 15.

Tourism Australia Managing Director Phillipa Harrison says the broadcast and digital activation hopes to keep event planners inspired and engaged for when it’s safe to send groups to Australia again.

Koala-ty Time with Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary & Candice Dixon“Even though demand for travel is currently on hold and the timing of the recovery is still uncertain, it’s important that we continue to engage with business event planners around the globe,” Harrison explains. “Our goal is keeping Australia front of mind for event planners by using this enforced period of self-isolation to engage with people in their living rooms, feed their escapism and inspire them to plan for travel again once the restrictions start to lift.”

The Live From Aus program will be hosted by an array of Australian personalities, advocates and industry operators who will present a range of interactive experiences, including cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, exercise classes, cultural immersion sessions, Australian wildlife encounters and a live music program presented by Sounds Australia.

The Live from Aus program schedule was released on May 8 on www.australia.com and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SeeAustralia/events/
