True Value brings Spring Market to Atlanta

Hardware cooperative True Value has selected Atlanta for its annual spring markets in 2013 and 2014.  The event is estimated to draw approximately 10,000 attendees to the Georgia World Congress Center. True Value last visited Atlanta in 2008 for the company’s fall market.

“Attendees will enjoy enhanced entertainment and culinary options around Centennial Olympic Park since they last visited the city,” said William Pate, president and CEO of the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau. “From the new AT&T Dolphin Tales show at the Georgia Aquarium to a downtown dining boom, Atlanta offers a host of activity after the tradeshow floor has closed.”

True Value retailers from across the country convene at the spring market to share best practices and view the latest in hardware equipment for the upcoming retail season. The spring marked recently received a Trade Show News Network (TSNN) Event Excellence Award for fastest-growing show for net square footage.

True Value Company, headquartered in Chicago, is one of the world’s largest retailer-owned hardware cooperatives. True Value Company consists of approximately 4,800 independent retailers worldwide operating under the store identities of True Value, Grand Rental Station, Taylor Rental, Party Central, Home & Garden Showplace and Induserve Supply.
