New additions to the board included Bonnie Best, general manager, the Hotel Valencia at Santana Row; Larry Hancock, general director, Opera San Jose; Michael Miller, managing director, Children’s Musical Theater San Jose; and James MacGregor, publisher, Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Reinstated board members included John Southwell, managing partner, Hilton San Jose and Hyatt Place; Kelley Cosgrove, general manager, Fairmont San Jose; Rob Balmer, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton; Robert Thomas, general manager, Marriott San Jose and vice chair of the board; Michael Mulcahy, managing partner, SDS NexGgen Partners and board chairman; Mike Fox, Jr., president and CEO, Goodwill Industries Silicon Valley and board treasurer; Andrew Bales, president, Symphony Silicon Valley and board secretary; Bill Fairweather, business agent, IATSE Union Local 134; Enrique Fernandez, business agent, HERE Local 19; and Josh Ende, business agent, Sign Display & Allied Crafts Local Union 510.
