“Our board is made up of seasoned community, tourism, arts and industry leaders focused on business development and promoting San Jose as a destination,” said Michael Mulcahy, board chairman, Team San Jose. “Our new additions will continue to drive our mission to put heads in beds, butts in seats and feet on the street while providing a fresh perspective.”

New additions to the board included Bonnie Best, general manager, the Hotel Valencia at Santana Row; Larry Hancock, general director, Opera San Jose; Michael Miller, managing director, Children’s Musical Theater San Jose; and James MacGregor, publisher, Silicon Valley Business Journal.

Reinstated board members included John Southwell, managing partner, Hilton San Jose and Hyatt Place; Kelley Cosgrove, general manager, Fairmont San Jose; Rob Balmer, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton; Robert Thomas, general manager, Marriott San Jose and vice chair of the board; Michael Mulcahy, managing partner, SDS NexGgen Partners and board chairman; Mike Fox, Jr., president and CEO, Goodwill Industries Silicon Valley and board treasurer; Andrew Bales, president, Symphony Silicon Valley and board secretary; Bill Fairweather, business agent, IATSE Union Local 134; Enrique Fernandez, business agent, HERE Local 19; and Josh Ende, business agent, Sign Display & Allied Crafts Local Union 510.
